The Java Training Guide
ISBN: 0-12-339106-7
This is a multimedia version of
Who's Afraid of Java?. The only significant difference between
these two books is that The Java Training Guide includes a
number of movies in which Elliotte Rusty Harold explains a number of
issues in Java.
Please note that I can help you with compiler problems only if you use
the J++ compiler that I provide on the CD-ROM in the back of the
book. If you want to use another compiler, that's fine, but I won't be
able to help you with any problems you may encounter in compiling your
programs, other than to recommend that you use the J++ compiler.
If you have already seen this book, please let me know where you
first heard about it, and where you purchased it.

Is this book for you? Probably. It makes programming fun and easy
(well, as easy as possible). And if you are of the female persuasion,
rest assured that the needs of novices of the fairer sex have been
taken into account as well; you are well represented in "The Java
Training Guide" by Susan, my primary novice (and wife).
