This is a multimedia version of Who's Afraid of C++?. The only significant difference between these two books is that The C++ Training Guide includes a number of movies in which I introduce the chapters and add some material not covered in the book itself. Unfortunately, there is another difference: the CD-ROM in the back of the first printing of The C++ Training Guide is missing an important file called "djgpp.lnk". To fix this problem, click on the current errata list and installation notes.

Please note that I can help you with compiler problems only if you use the DJGPP compiler that I provide on the CD-ROM in the back of the book. If you want to use another compiler, that's fine, but I won't be able to help you with any problems you may encounter in compiling your programs, other than to recommend that you use the DJGPP compiler.

Is this book for you? Probably. It makes programming fun and easy (well, as easy as possible). And if you are of the female persuasion, rest assured that the needs of novices of the fairer sex have been taken into account as well; you are well represented in "The C++ Training Guide" by Susan, my primary novice (and wife).
